I just released my first new crochet pattern of 2019! And not just 1 but 2 patterns! Woot!
I’m feeling really proud of myself because I designed both of these patterns while I was recovering from surgery.
I enjoyed watching Netflix or listening to audiobooks and letting my creativity fly. It’s been great to accomplish this and feel proud while also feeling better in my body after the surgery.
You can get both of these beanies in the Men’s Seed Stitch Beanie Crochet Bundle.
Watch the video below for more behind the scenes deets about my new designs!
Bridger Beanie
IMHO, this is the slightly more challenging pattern of the two.
To crochet this beanie, you’ll use 4 main stitches — single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet and back post double crochet.
I love how the different stitches give this beanie interesting texture and ridges.
I designed this beanie to fit an average men’s head and it will fit pretty tight. No slouchiness here!
Pondera Beanie
This beanie turns out a little bigger than the Bridger Beanies. It’s designed to be slouchy and fit a little loosely.
You’ll need to know the same 4 stitches for this beanie pattern — single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet and back post double crochet.
But, I feel like this beanie is slightly easier to crochet because there aren’t as many variations in stitches and textures.
And don’t forget to add a pom pom! That’s one of my favorite parts of this beanie. I just love it!
